Unifi Communications announced today that it is the first European Cisco Partner to achieve the new Cisco Express Security Specialization. This Cisco Security specialization recognizes Unifi Communications as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy, and support Cisco security technologies, such as the Cisco ASAs, that will help our customers with their security concerns.
"Network security is an increasing concern for all our customers. IT security is fundamental for any business and the consequences of a malware attack or security breach can be staggering." says Rob Coleman Unifi's Sales Director, "Coupled with increasing requirements in bring-your-own device (BYOD), cloud-based applications, virtualized data centers, we only anticipate security concerns to expand even further."
The Cisco Channel Program provides a framework for partners to build the sales, technical and services skills required to deliver Cisco solutions to end customers. Through the program's specializations and certifications, Cisco recognizes a partner's expertise in deploying solutions based on Cisco advanced technologies and services. Using a third-party audit process, the program validates a partner’s technology skills, business practices, customer satisfaction, presales and post-sales support capabilities, and other critical factors customers consider when choosing a trusted partner.
“Unifi Communications is committed to delivering the best solutions for each business customer, and that means we invest the time and resources needed to become certified to sell and support Cisco Security technologies such as the Cisco ASAs,” continues Rob Coleman. “By achieving the Cisco Express Security Specialization, we can extend more integrated network solutions from Cisco to our customers, and develop solutions that will help them grow and protect their businesses.”
The Cisco Security portfolio encompasses a wide range of network and content security technology products from the Cisco ASAs to advanced web and e-mail security solutions. The market is currently growing at a 7 percent compound annual growth rate, with Cisco addressing 88 percent of the broader security market.
